Kelly Kelly Patrick A. There is only his name, no dates, but he was buried here. Healy Daniel 1858 1912 Dan drowned in Tourquois Lake, near Leadville, CO Additional Comments: Ellen, my natural gr.gr. Aunt, died in childbirth, May 25,1895 and buried May 27. She was born in County Kerry, Ireland and Emmigrated Oct. 8, 1862. Her life in America started in Houghton County, MI and arrived into Leadville about 1878. She married Pat Kelly had three known children with him the last child, P. Albert Kelly died, too and was buried in Leadville's Evergreen Cemetery. No know reason give. I have her Death Certificate, and the furneral costs and instructions. No cemetery plot etc. were listed. I have a photo of the headstone. Dan Healy, Ellen Kelly's, brother, was born in County Kerry Ireland. He held several post office positions in Lake County, was Lake County's State Senator, in 1903. He, also, sold insurance and real estate and was well liked. He helped establish the HEALY HOUSE, on Harrison Ave, in Leadville. Responsible, for bringing a cousin, Nellie A. Healy, to Leadville and she eventually turned the HEALY HOUSE over to the Colorado State Historical Society. Dan was from a poor immigrant family, who worked the copper mines of Michigan. He educated himself and taught school in Marquette, MI until his sister, Ellen Healy Kelly asked him to come out to Leadville, in 1885.
