Raleigh Standard 11 April 1860
   DIED, at his residence in Craven County, on Thursday, the 15th ult. of 
dropsy of the chest, DR. JOSEPH B. OUTLAW, who was born in Bertie County, on 
the 11th of February,  1798.
   The deceased was extensively known in North Carolina and Tennessee, and his 
bereaved family will have the sympathy of a large circle of Christian friends 
in both states.
