She was born June 26, 1929, in Salt Lake City, Utah, the first of five children of Alma Charles and Alice Rosenvall Eitner. She was educated in SLC schools and attended LDS Business College in Salt Lake City. Beverly married John Stephenson Jenkins on December 27, 1949, in the Salt Lake Temple of the LDS church. Through the US Air Force, they lived in Massachusetts, Bermuda, South Carolina and moved to Anchorage, Alaska in 1963. Beverly was a kind, loving wife and mother. She left a wonderful legacy of love and faith for her family. Beverly is survived by her children, Judy, John Bryan (Joann), Laurel (Bill Parks), Ellen (Ed Backus), Kathy (Brian Howes), David, Thomas, Ralph (Tammie), and Stephen, 24 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, sisters Pam Earle and Sherrie Bodell, brother Jay Eitner, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband John, sons Paul and Leonard, and her brother Emerson. Funeral services will be Saturday, January 30, at 12 noon. Burial will be in the Angelus Memorial Park Cemetery in Anchorage.
