A visitation will be at 10 a.m., with a service at 11 am., today, at Evergreen Memorial Chapel, 737 E. St. The Rev. Sonny Russell will officiate. Burial will be in Kotzebue. Mrs. Wilson-Beltran was born Aug. 6, 1959, in Kotzebue to Max and Alice Wilson. She lived in Kotzebue until she was 25. She then moved to Anchorage. She was a Baptist and had volunteered her time as a patient-services assistant at Alaska Native Medical Center. She enjoyed visiting with her grandchildren. She also enjoyed collecting unicorn knickknacks, and loved Dale Earnhardt collectibles. Her family wrote: "She was loved by everyone she met and she always found the humor in life. She loved listening to old gospel music, especially sung by her parents, Max and Alice Wilson. She never forgot to call (family members and friends) on their birthday!" Mrs. Wilson-Beltran is survived by her brothers, Max Wilson Jr., Willy Hawley, and Andrew Wilson, sons, Willie and Robert Wilson, daughters, Allison and Bobbie Wilson; grandchildren, Willis Wilson, Jasmine Wilson, Ruth Henry, Nereus Wilson and Dojha Wilson; aunts, Sandra Lee, Cora Henry, Ida Biesemeier, Parrie Curtis, and Frieda Henry; uncles, Dick Curtis Jr., Fred "Sonny Boy" Goodwin; grandmother, Lilly Curtis; and sisters, Mary Ann Russell, Viola Knox, and Dee Garrett. She was preceded in death by her parents; grandfather, Dick Curtis Sr.; and brothers, Nereus Wilson and Perry Wilson.
