Five girls, state university students, testified that Swimming Instructor Henry S. Horan could have saved the girl if he had been willing to wet his street clothes. They swore that while the girl was drowning he went to a dressing room to put on a bathing suit, and then descended into the pool and dragged out the body. Horan was formerly swimming instructor at Harvard University.
