ALEXANDER RITES HELD BY PIONEERS. Services For Aged Sourdough Who Died Recently Are Held Sunday In Chapel Of Ross Undertaking Co. Services for Sandy Alexander who died a week ago in his cabin in Fairbanks were held yesterday afternoon in the Hosea H. Ross Undertaking Parlors under the auspices of the Fairbanks Igloo of the Pioneers of Alaska. Rites were conducted by Harry Badger, president, Peter Dieser, chaplin and Frank Hodgson, acting historian. Vocal selections were given by Mrs. F. M. Dunham and Mrs. J. H. Groves, accompanied on the organ by Mrs. P. J. McDonald. Frank Hiatt, Al Sutton, Daniel Leech, Carl Preiss, John Quimbo and James McGrath were pallbearers. Interment was in the Pioneer plot of Fairbanks cemetery."
