cancer.

FAMILY: Parents Harold and Louise Ewing
SPOUSE(S):  he married Betty Cleveland, and the couple moved to Juneau in 1961.
the family moved to Haines in 1962.
PROCEEDED IN DEATH BY: He was preceded in death by his father, mother and his
son, Charles.
SURVIVING ARE: 
 wife Betty Ewing of Haines, 
 children Patricia (and husband Dave) Peters of Haines; Joann (and husband Ken)
Simpson of Juneau; David (and wife Kelly) Ewing of Camas Valley, Ore.; 
 brothers Don (and wife Sandra) Ewing of Dallas and Boyd (and wife Janice)
Vratil of Okla.; 
FUNERAL HOME:  
BURIAL LOCATION:  Services were held May 5, 2000, at Jones Point Cemetery in
Haines.
OTHER INFORMATION:  Served as a paratrooper in the 187th Army Airborne during
the Korean War.
