FUNNY RIVER MEMORIAL GARDEN
Funny River, Alaska

The Funny River Memorial Garden is in Funny River, Kenai Peninsula Borough, Alaska. To find
the garden from the intersection of the Sterling Highway and Funny River Road, drive 12.4 miles
down Funny River Road crossing Funny River. Turn right on Pioneer Road. Drive 1/10th mile.
The Memorial Garden is located in front of the Funny River Community Center that is on the 
lefthand side of Pioneer Road. Metal memorial markers are attached to the top of the retaining 
wall surrounding the raised garden. The plaques were read beginning at the sign and going to the
right. Read on August 14, 2003.
