There are very few tombstones; most of the graves are marked with stones and stumps. The City of Homer maintains it. Some years ago the residents of Homer gathered together to recollect who was buried here and through a process of sorting out and verifying the facts with the Vital Statistics Bureau the following names were collected and engraved on a plaque at the entrance to the cemetery. There are some later burials in the cemetery whose names are not on the plaque; they have been noted. "Over the long years and from many lands they came -- ending life's journey here; and each has found in this quiet place - eternity" Use the "Find" or "Search" feature of your browser for specific name searches. =========================================================================================
