ODDFELLOWS CEMETERY
Seward, Alaska

The Oddfellows Cemetery in Seward, Kenai Peninsula Borough, Alaska is located on Coolidge
Drive. It is part of a group of cemeteries and is the second cemetery facing the paved road. This
cemetery was formerly owned by the Resurrection Lodge Independent Order of Oddfellows. It is
now owned and maintained by the City of Seward.

The notation in parenthesis following the cemetery marker inscription is additional information.
The notation "1983 information" refers to Alaska's Kenai Peninsula Death Records and Cemetery
Inscriptions published in 1983 by the Kenai Totem Tracers. In the 1983 book this cemetery was
called "Eastern Star". The notation "KM data" refers to the data of Kerry Martin, Seward cemetery
historian, who has researched death certificates, obituaries, funeral home records and Seward
Recording District records in an effort to learn more about the people buried in the Seward
