Redoubt Ave, Soldotna, Kenai Peninsula Borough, Alaska. The Memorial Garden is located between the rectory and O'Neill Hall. 1. An Apostle to Alaska Father Thaddeus P. Carey Mar 12, 1927 - Mar 3, 2003 (Her ashes were scattered on the Catholic church grounds) Gaede Homestead (Gaede Eighty Homestead Lot 7B) 4. Elmer E. Gaede 1922 - 1991 Matt 6:33 (Dr. Gaede was born Sep 8, 1922 in Collinsville, Oklahoma.) 5. Ruby L. Gaede 1924 - 1995 Phil 1:21 (Ruby was born Apr 17, 1924 in Hillboro, Kansas. Her maiden name was Leppke. The Gaede's have a double marker.) Damon Memorial (Community College Drive) This 160 acre parcel was donated to the University of Alaska by Clarence and Anna Goodrich in Memory of their daughter Frances Helen Damon and grandson Lawrence E. Damon who were killed in the 1964 Tidal Wave resulting from the Good Friday earthquake at Whittier, Alaska. (Plaque on a large rock in a fenced enclosure. Community College Drive splits and goes around this park on both sides.)
