KENAI LAD DIES FROM EFFECTS OF SNOWSLIDE

  The 11 year old son of Mr. and Mrs. George Miller of
Kenai died from the effects of being buried under a
snowslide December 24, according to Al Hardy, game
warden, who returned to Anchorage recently from the
Peninsula. The lad was missed from school early in
the afternoon and a search started. He was found under
a small snow and dirt slide on a big cut bank where
the children played, about 3 o'clock in the afternoon
and was alive at the time but died at 11 o'clock the
same day.
