An incorporated city, first settled in 1888, located on Revillagigedo Island at the southern end of Tongas Narrows, 250 miles s e of Juneau. Has a Methodist church, 2 saw mills, 2 hotels and a salmon cannery. A U S customs office is also located here. Some mining is being done in the vicinity. Its usual banking point is Seattle, Wash.
