  SEALEVEL. A p o and mining camp on Revillagigedo island, near the head of
Thorne Arm, 290 miles s e of Juneau, the nearest banking point, and 24 e of
Ketchikan, its nearest steamboat landing. It is also situated on Gokatcheen
creek, which furnishes power to operate stamp mills and concentrators. The gold
found in the vicinity is mostly of the free milling variety. Mail and passenger
launch from Ketchikan weekly, fare $3.
