Service: Took monastic vows and ordained as hierodeacon, 1891. Ordained as hieromonk, 1893. Worked in various churches and monasteries in Russia, 1891-1898. Transferred to Alaska and appointed as missionary for Kwihpah, 1900. Rewarded with epigonation, 1902. Appointed Dean of the Russian Churches in Northern America, 1908. Rewarded with order of St. Ann, 1912. Transferred to Edmonton, Canada to position of Dean of Canadian churches, 1914. Raised to position of Archimandrite, 1914. Appointed rector of Sitka Cathedral and Dean of Sitka District, 1915. Member of Alaska Ecclesiastical Consistory.
