Distinguished Service Cross Citation
  Felix Beauchump, captain, 5th Regiment, United States Marine Corps. For 

extraordinary heroism in action near St. Etienne, France, October 3-4, 1918. 

He took command after his company commander had been evacuated, and, despite 

severe wounds, participated in many engagements, continuing until additional 

wounds forced his withdrawal from the field. Residence at appointment: 

Sitka, Alaska.
