  RAMPART. A p o and trading post, also known as Manook City and Rampart City,

on the Yukon river, 975 miles n e of St Michael and 650 n w of Dawson, N W T,

the nearest banking point. The Manook mining region is adjacent to this place.

Mail steamers from all river points land here. Contains a saw mill and exports

furs and sold. Pop. 211.
