Edelen II < todedelen@elmore.rr.com > ==================================================================== November 2002 Poplar Springs Church Cemetery, Autauga County, Alabama Poplar Springs Church is a small black church located on Co. Rd. 29. Go out Hy. 14 W. from Prattville towards Autaugaville and take a left on Co. Rd. 29. Go about a mile or a mile and a half and the church will be on your left right in a curve. The cemetery is behind or sort of next to the church and is a fenced in square roughly about 35 yards square. The graves in it are along the fence to your left, next to the church, as you walk into it. I started with that row, R. to L. and worked my way outwards. I think there are some graves in this fenced in area that are totally unmarked. ROW 1.: 1. Pinkie Emily Polly Oct. 1, 1905 Sept. 2, 2000 Note: "Pinkie" was at top of stone. I don't know if that was her last name or a nick name. 2. Marked with a painted homemade wooden marker. The paint was all but all peeled off and missing. No name legible. 3. Same as above. 4.
