James Powell's house is 733 Powell Rd.(County Road 12). Graves are located behind the house. These are the only two graves behind James Powell's dairy. James knows of no other graves in the vicinity. Missing information was caused by breakage from a tree growing in the headstone. Coe on 5 April 1837, Book 1,page 238, Autauga County Probate Records) ============================================================ There are two other graves located south of Old Ridge Road(County Rd 12 East) on James Powell's property (sec. 34)approximately 1/2 mile from Hwy 31 on Co. Rd. 12 East. The graves are located approximately 500 ft. south of County Rd. 12. One headstone and one footstone (in {}): Harriet Williams Age 65 years Dec. 6, 1894 (Footstone of a different grave) O.W. (There are about 4 - 5 sunken graves in this area. These are the only known stones at this time)
