Special Orphans Court October 3.  1844

This day came William Dunn and made application to be appointed Adm’r of the 
estate of Benjamin Dunn dec’d  whereupon the court 

Ordered that said William Dunn be appointed adm’r of the estate of Benjamin 
Dunn dec’d.

Ordered that the bond of Wm. Dunn as adm’r of the estate of Benjamin Dunn dec’d 
in the sum of Six Thousand Dollars with Joseph D. Lee and Josiah Dunn as 
Securities be rec’d and recorded.

Ordered that letters of administration issue to said Wm Dunn in and upon the 
goods & chattles[sic] rights and credits of the estate of Benjamin Dunn dec’d.

Ordered that Henry Lee, James Carr, A. Kirkland, James Tharpe & Benjamin Davis 
be approved appraisers of the estate of Benjamin Dunn dec’d.

Ordered that said adm’r make a return of the appraisement so to be made to this 
court within three months.

Ordered that said adm’r make a just, full and complete inventory of all and 
singular the goods & chattles rights & credits of Benjamin Dunn dec’d.

Ordered that said adm’r make a return of the inventory so to be made to this 
court within three months.

Ordered that Wm Dunn adm’r of the estate of Benjamin Dunn dec’d have leave to 
sell all the personal property belonging to said estate.

Ordered that said adm’r make a return of said sale within three months to this 
court.
