Special Orphans Court November 19 1844

     On the application of William Dunn administrator of the estate of Benj’a 
Dunn dec’d and petitioner for the sale of the real estate of said dec’d and it 
being stated on said application that said real estate cannot be equally fairly 
and beneficially divided without a sale and the court having ordered testimony 
to be taken touching the necessity of selling the same and said testimony 
having been taken & filed and the court being satisfied that all parties had 
had due notice of the taking of same ~ and from said testimony the court was 
[of the] Opinion that said real [estate] could not be equally fairly and 
beneficially divided without a sale and no objection or exception having been 
made or taken to the same it was therefore by the court

Ordered that William Dunn administrator of the estate of Benj’a Dunn dec’d have 
leave to sell all the real estate of said decedent as described and set forth 
in said petition to wit, the S.E. ¼ of Sec. 9 Township 17 Range 12 lying east 
of Buck Creek ~ also the W. ½ of the N.W. ¼ of Section 15 Township 17 Range 
12.  also lot No. 1 of Section 16 Township 17 Range 12~ by giving forty days 
notice in some public newspaper published in this State and also by giving 
notice by advertisement at this or more public places in said county, of the 
time and place of such sale ~ to be sold on a credit of twelve months.

Ordered that said Administrator make a return of said sale to this court, 
within three months ~
