Jesse Booth Judge of the Probate Court of Autauga County Ala. Your petition Martha E. King the wife of Wm Lewis King would respectfully show unto your Honor that she is the daughter and one of the heirs at law of Charles Cale who departed this life in Autauga county about the year 1874-____.That soon after his death to wit in the day of________187. letters of administration on the estate of said Cale was deceased was granted by your Honorable court to our Sam J or Samuel J. Jones, who immediately entered upon the duties of his office and collected together and received all the property and assets of the said estate amounting to several Thousand dollars, as will be shown by inventory so on file in your office, the said Jones having first given bond and security approved for the due performance of his duties as such administration. Your petition further shows that more than Eighteen months as elapsed since the granting of such letters to said Jones and he Jones has failed and neglected and still fails and neglects to make any settlement of his acts and doings as such administrator. The premises considered your petition as no interested in said estate prays you Honor for an order and citation to said Jones requiring him forthwith to file his accounts and vouchers and to make a final settlement of the estate of said Charles Cale.
