To all people to whom these presents shall come

Know ye that I Thomas Dunn of Autauga County, State of Alabama for and in 
consideration of the sum of seven thousand dollars to me in hand paid before 
the seal hereof, the receipt whereof I do hereby acknowledge myself herewith 
fully satisfied and contented, and thereof (dark spot) part thereof do 
exonerate acquit and discharge George Goffe the bearer of this deed his Heirs, 
Executors, and administrators forever, by these presents have given, granted, 
bargained, sold, aliened, conveyed and confirmed, and by these presents do 
fully and absolutely give, grant, bargain, alien, convey and confirm unto him 
the said George Goffe his Heirs and assigns forever three Lots of Land known 
and distinguished by the south west quarter of Section six Township seventeen 
of Range thirteen; also the north east quarter of Section one Township 
seventeen of Range twelve; also the north west quarter of Section one Township 
seventeen of Range twelve in the district of Cahaba in the State of Alabama .  
To have and hold the said granted and bargained premises with all 
appurtanances, privileges, commodities to the same belonging or in any wise 
app… to him the said George Goffe his Heirs and assigns (unclear words) 
forever.  And I the said Thomas Dunn, for my Self, my Heirs, Executors and 
Administrators do covenant with the said George Goffe his Heirs and assigns 
that I am lawfully siezed in fee of the premises, that they are free from all 
encumbrances, that I have good right to sell and convey the same to the said 
George Goffe, to hold as aforesaid, and that I will warrant and defend the same 
to the said George Goffe, his Heirs and assigns forever against the lawful 
claims and demands of all persons.

In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this sixteenth of 
March, eighteen hundred and twenty nine.
