Warren Curtis Creel, born November 7, 1928, a resident of Montgomery, Alabama 
and formerly of Prattville, Alabama died Saturday, March 31, 2012 at age 83.

Mr. Curtis Creel was preceded in death by his parents Mr. and Mrs. Spencer 
Creel and by his wife, Mattie Ree Mitchell Creel, daughter of James William 
Mitchell and Ruthie Jane Wyres Mitchell of Bibb County, Alabama. 

Curtis Creel is survived by two daughters, Shirley DeFran Smith (Thomas) and 
Patsy Ray Creel (Bernard); three sons, Brandell Gill Creel (Helen), Dennie 
Morris Creel (Lynn), Dale Logan; ten grand children and a host of great-
grandchildren.  Mr. Creel worked for many years in the area as a contractor
building homes throughout the area.  

The family will receive friends at Prattville Memorial Chapel on Monday, April 
2, 2012 from noon until 12:45 p.m. prior to graveside service.
