Caver, Jr. January 3, 1935: Lawton JOHNSON, Jr., eight-year-old son of Mr. & Mrs. Lawton JOHNSON, of Prattville, died at the home of his parents on the afternoon of Friday, December 21st (1934). After suffering for two weeks with an attack of influenza, this young fellow appeared to be recovering. Complications set in, however, and he rapidly grew worse... Burial was in the Durden Cemetery with Griffin in charge.
