It is located in Little River, Alabama at Brickyard Lake. This is a one-acre county park, which was dedicated on December 18, 1991 to the William Weatherford Red Eagle grave site. William is most remembered for his involvement he had with the tragedy at Ft. Mims on August 30, 1813. There are only two graves at this location, that of Red Eagle and his mother, Creek Nation Princess Sehoy (III) Tate Weatherford. The inscriptions on their tombstones say: William Weatherford Red Eagle 1765-1824 Sehoy Tate Weatherford Creek Nation Princess Wind Clan - Mother of William Weatherford
