The land for the cemetery was donated by Thomas Edward Johnson of Baldwin County. - L.W. Deed Book 13 Page 247 State of Alabama, ) Baldwin County. ) This Indenture, Made the 30th. day of December 1907., between William Vizard and Mary D. Vizard, his wife, parties of the first part, and T.E. Johnson, et al, parties of the second part. WITNESSETH, that parties of the first part, in consideration of One Dollar ($1.00) hereby acknowledged to have been paid parties of the first part, by parties of the second part. Do grant, bargain, sell and convey, unto the said parties of the second part, their heirs and assigns, all that real property in Baldwin County, State of Alabama, described as follows:- Beginning at the Northwest corner of southeast quarter of section twenty two, township three south range two east, thence north 6.50chains to a stake for a beginning point, thence north 6.32 chains, thence east 3.16 chains, thence south 6.32 chains, thence west 3.16 chains to the place of beginning, containing two acres. Said two acres being known as the Johnson grave-yard. Together with all rights, and appurtenances to said to described premises, in anywise or belonging: To have and to hold the same forever, provided it shall always be used for the purpose of a grave-yard should at anytime the use of it for that purpose be abandoned then all rights, titles and interest herein granted shall become null and void, and the property shall revert to the parties of the fist part, have hereunto set their hands and seal the day and year first above written.
