He was a native of St. Paul, Minn., and a television and radio repairman. Funeral services were August 4 at 2 PM in Bayview Foley Chapel with the Rev. Smith officiating. Burial followed in the Pine Rest Memorial Park. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Ruby Madeline Lewak, Foley; four daughters, Mrs. Ruth Gilley, Foley, Mrs. Judy Smith, Mobile and Mrs. Betsy Wood and Mrs. Barbara Gibbson, Pensacola, Fla.; two sons, James Wood, Ft. Walton Beach, Fla., and Donald Wood, Fla.; one sister Mrs. Emily Letz, Tampa, Fla.; 12 grandchildren. Arrangements were by Bayview Funeral Home, Foley.
