Serene Cemetery is located on SR 30 (Clayton Highway), .5 miles east of the junction of SR 30 and CR 79 (between mile markers 7 and 8). It is in section 4, R27E, T10N. A dirt road leads southeasterly from SR 30 into the woods for 500 yards before coming to the cemetery. The cemetery sign is on the south side of the road, easily visible when headed east, but hard to see when headed west. This cemetery is in current use and well maintained. There are numerious unmarked but identifiable graves in this cemetery. There is one grave marked by a wooden headstone and wooden footstone, but the engraving has disintegrated. A full set of the digital photos of all the tombstones in this cemetery, along with a copy of this text, will be placed in the Family History Library, Salt Lake City, Utah, for public use.
