Funeral services will be on Sun., Dec. 28, at 2 p.m. at Richland Baptist Church near Brundidge in Pike Co., Ala., with Rev. Kenneth Andrews officiating. Burial will be in the Richland Church Cemetery, with Bob Thrash-Skeen Funeral Home of Brundidge, Ala., directing. Visitation will be on Sat., Dec. 27, from 6 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Mr. Abercrombie was preceded in death by his wife, Verna Abercrombie; his son, Kenneth Lamar Abercrombie; and his parents, Foster and Anna Mae Abercrombie, who had lived in the Josie area of Pike County.. Survivors include a daughter, Betty Sue Martz of Fort Myers, Fla.; two grandchildren, Sara Martz and Charles Martz, both of Colorado; a sister, Margaret Shaw of Clio; and a brother and his wife, Royce and Becky Abercrombie of Clio.
