Greathouse- Pike Co., AL Montgomery Advertiser Dated: Sept. 3, 1944 EUFAULA BOY KILLED IN ACTION IN FRANCE EUFAULA, ALA., Sept. 2--- Staff Sergt. Ronald C. Greathouse, 23, of Eufaula, formerly of Clayton was killed in action in France Aug. 3, according to a message received by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. R. C. Greathouse here. He entered the service June, 1942 and was a member of Co. K, 112th Infantry. His training was received at Camp Livingston, LA., and Camp Gordon Johnston, Fla. Besides his parents, he leaves two brothers, Glenn and Obie Greathouse, Eufaula; three sisters, Miss Bettie Greathouse, Mrs. Frank Dunn, Eufaula; Mrs. Solom Seaborn, Clayton.
