Mabrey Mitchell

CENTREVILLE - Mabrey Mitchell of Eoline, Alabama died yesterday [June 10, 1969]
in Columbus, Georgia [hospital].

Funeral services will be held tomorrow at 11 a.m. at the Jack Lee Funeral 
Chapel with Rev. Sam Davis officiating.  Burial will be in Ada's Chapel 
Cemetary, West Blocton, Alabama.

Survivors inclued two daughters, Miss Edna Ruth Mitchell and Miss Wanda Lou 
Mitchell of Eoline, two step-children, Mrs. Linda Marchant of West Blocton, 
Glenn Bowen of Jacksonville, Fla.; his mother, Mrs. Janie Wyres Mitchell of 
West Blocton, two brothers, [John] Howard Mitchell of Prattville, [James] 
Edward Mitchell of Montgomery; four half-brothers, Benjamin F. Mitchell of 
Holt, Murphy Mitchell of Tuscaloosa, Archie Mitchell of Selma and Jessie 
[Clifford] Mitchell of Tennessee; three sisters, Mrs. Mattie Ree Creel of 
Prattville, Mrs. Dorothy Wyers Stewart of West Blocton, Mrs Lilly Burt of 
Brent. 

Mabrey Mitchell was preceded in death by his wife, Tula Martin Bowen Mitchell 
and his father James William Mitchell.
