Written: October 24, 1832

State of Alabama }  Know all men by these present that I Henry Avery Senior 
Bibb County        } of the county and State aforesaid for and in consideration 
of  the natural love and affection which I bear to my sons John Avery, Samuel 
Avery, Thomas Avery, William Avery, Henry  Avery Junior, Alexander Avery & 
Arthur Avery and also to my daughters Catharine Cutts & Mary Cutts have given 
and granted and by these present do give and grant  unto my children above  
named & their heirs and assign forever to be equally divided between them share 
& share alike at my death the following described property viz:

Sampson, a negro man age about forty five years
Rupel a negro man age about twenty four years
Mima a negro woman age about fifty years
Patience a negro woman age about twenty eight years
Lide a negro woman age about twenty five years
Bell a negro woman age about twenty three years
Moses a boy eight or nine years of age
Toney  a boy about seven years of age
Seva  a negro girl about four years of age      
Sam a boy about two years of age
         
Together with all my stock of 
horses, hogs, cattle, household and kitchen
furniture, farming tools together 
with their increase be the same no more
or less to have & to hold the same 
after my death forever and the heirs of Henry
Avery Senior for himself his executors
the foregoing described property ________ 
Children aforesaid named and  _________
specified & for the Consideration ________ 
against the claim of him ? Henry

Additional Comments:
NOTE: I was told by the clerk who copied the records in the Bibb County Court 
house that someone had damaged the records by tearing pages from the book. That 
is why some of the information above is missing from the WILL. If anyone 
possessed a copy of this will before damage was done please let submit it.
