Feb'y 10th 1810 Died in Blountsville August 19th 1882 in the 72nd year of her age. (second digit of age difficult to read) Alice G. Wooten daughter of J. M. and L. T. Wooten Was born in Winston Co., Ala. August 11th 1857 Mary Ann Wooten Was born in Winston Co., Ala Sept. 26th 1859 Jim Dick Wooten Was born in Winston Co., Ala January 16th 1862 Frank Asbury W. Was born in Winston Co., Ala Dec. 10th 1863 Minerva Caroline W. (middle name difficult to read) Was born in Blount Co. Ala, March 14th 1866 Charley Candler W. Was born in Blount Co. Ala January 14th 1868 Lucy Cole Wooten Was born in Blountsville Ala Feb. 23rd 1870 Lewis Monroe Was born in Blountsville Nov. 22nd 1872 (Day difficult to read - partly crossed out) Lillie Belle Wooten was born March 27th (rest of date obliterated) (immediately to the right of the entry, in a slightly different hand is written: Lillie Belle was born March 27th 1876) Sallie Bet Wooten was born September 11th 1878 Gypsy Wooten was born April 9th 1882 Sallie Bet Wooten died of Brain fever at Viola Blount Co. Ala. March 24th at 1 am and was buried in Blountsville March 25th 1887 "Poor little Sallie! Marriages James M. Wooten and Lucy T. Mcpherson Was Married Oct 5th 1856 in Blount Co Ala By Rev. J. A. Williams Thomas J. Carnes and Lucy C Wooten was married May 8th 1887 in Blount by W. GH Crishank (name very difficult to decipher) Minerva Caroline Wooten and Eaton Bledsoe Roberts were married Sept 4 1881 In Blountsville Ala By Probate J. W. Moore Deaths Mary Burnum died Aug. 19th 1882 aged 72 yrs 6 mo. 10 days Mary Ann Doyle died of Typhoid Malaria Dec 10 1883 aged 24 yrs. 2 mos 14 days (The above records, with the exception of the second birth entry for Lillie Belle Wooten, were entered in the same hand. There is an additional entry under Deaths that is impossible to read due to its being severely scratched out, but it appears from the letters that can be seen to be in the original hand.
