It is less than 1/4 mile off of Blount Co Rd 25. Some gravestones are getting harder to read. While there is plenty of room, many footstones are nearly on top of another's headstone. There also appear to be several replacement stones. List of tombstones begins nearest to road. Sign by the road states "Gilbreath Cemetery Est 1860 Land by Ake Henry Vaughan Sign by Conrad H & Ruth B St. John 1990" Last Name First Name Middle Name Birth Death Comment ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Swearingen William A Aug 2, 1944 Apr 16, 2003 Footstone: Bill Back of Stone: U of Auburn Symbol Married Jul 2, 1993 Swearingen Carolyn F May 3, 1948 Footstone: Carol Back of Stone: U of Auburn Symbol Mitchell Clyde C.
