			THE STATE OF ALABAMA BULLOCK COUNTY 

Know all men by these presents : 
	That we F. Cobb and his wife Nancy Cobb for and in consideration of 
the sum of Two hundred and fifty seven and 52/100 (157.52) to us in hand paid 
by G.J. Alley the receipt whereof we do hereby acknowledge, we do hereby 
grant, bargain, sell, enfeoff, and convey unto the said G.J. Alley the 
following described real estate. to wit:  

	North west portion of NE quarter of Sec. 5, T.!3, R. 25, known as the 
sixty (60) acre field more or less bounded on east and North by lands of  B. 
Hughes and West by lands of John Ware and S.Y.S. Pickett all in the County of 
Bullock, State of Alabama.  

	To have and to hold the aforegranted premises to the said G.J. Alley 
his heirs and assigns to his use and behoof forever.  And we do covenant with 
the said G. J. Alley heirs and assigns that we lawfully seized in fee of the 
aforegranted premises, that they are free of all incumbrance, that we have a 
good right to sell and convey the same to the G.J. Alley his heirs and 
assigns; and that we will warrant and defend the said premises unto the said 
G. J. Alley, his heirs and assigns forever, against the lawful claims and the 
demands of all persons. 

	In witness whereof  we the said F. Cobb & Nancy Cobb have hereunto set 
our hands and seals the 7th day of March in the year of Our Lord One Thousand 
Eight hundred and 83.

THE STATE OF ALABAMA BULLOCK COUNTY 
C.P.S. Daniels,  a Notary Public ~~~ in and for the County and State aforesaid 
hereby certify that F. Cobb and his wife Nancy Cobb whose names are signed to 
the foregoing conveyance and who are known to me, acknowledged before me, on 
this day, that being informed of the contents of this conveyance they executed 
the same voluntarily, on the day the same bears date.

Given under my hand this the 7th day of March 1883.
