Mr. and Mrs. R.E. Simms were called to Union Springs, Ala., a few days ago 
on account of the critical illness of Mrs. Simms' mother, Mrs. E.S. Fielder.

Mrs. E.S. Fielder, the aged mother of Mrs. R.E. Simms, died Wednesday 
afternoon at her home in Union Springs, Ala., after a long illness. The 
deceased visited Newnan frequently and has many friends here, who will learn 
of the good woman's death with deep regret. The funeral took place at Union 
Springs yesterday.
