Turn down the two-rutted lane a hundred yards, or so, and there is Consolation Church and Cemetery. This is a very beautiful old, old church and one can tell was in very good repair except for vandalism . It's pews inside are being ripped up and the windows broken. However it has a good coat of white paint and is clean. This census completed Jan. 27, 2002 by Ruth Hester.
