J. H. Joyner: The book has been out of print for 30 years. It was printed and published by the author for members of the Butler Baptist Association, Butler County, AL. The author has been dead for several years and has only one adopted son as a survivor. It might be located in the library of either First Baptist Church, Georgiana, AL or First Baptist Church, Greenville. I don't know if there is a reference copy at the Greenville Public Library. There is no index of names and therefore impossible to check page by page for individual names. The excerpts that I have submitted to this list is an identical copy, retyped of course, of the author's exact words. The only change made was to capitolize the surnames so that they would be easier to recognize. I am sorry that I cannot research the book for individual names. I know how frustrating genealogy can be because I have been doing it for more than 30 years. There are several more churches that I will place on the list as soon as I have time to copy them.
