William Andress left no will when he died and his estate was settled in
Butler County Probate Court, Greenville, Alabama, Deed Book 4, Page 267 -
271. Sharing his estate were Jeremiah, John N., William James, Stephen
Francis, Sarah Ann, and Martha. Stephen Francis Andress purchased the
others shares as follows:

1. JOHN N. AND MARY F. ANDRESS SOLD TO S. F. ANDRESS FOR $80.00 their 1/6
share in William Andress Estate. (John N. living in Hillsborough County,
Florida): W 1/2 of NE 1/4 and SE 1/4 of NE 1/4 Section 13, T 10, Range 15;
also NW 1/4 of SW 1/4 Section 18 T 10, Range 16 (160 acres in all)


2. WILLIAM J. ANDRESS AND HARRIET CATHERINE ANDRESS SOLD TO S. F. ANDRESS
their 1/6 share in the estate of WILLIAM AND NANCY ANDRESS for $96.00: NW
1/2 of SW 1;2 Section 18, T 10, Range 16; also SE 1/4 of Section 13, T 10,
Range 15 and W 1/2 of SE 1/4 of Section 13, T 10, Range 15 (6-17-1872)


3. JOHN MOSELEY AND SARAH ANN MOSELEY of Crenshaw County, Alabama sold to
S. F. Andress their 1/6 share of estate of William and Ann Andress for
$80.00: W 1/2 of NE 1/4 and SE 1/4 of the NE 1/4 of Section 13, T 10 Range
15; also NW 1/4 of SW 1/4 of Section 18, T 10, Range 16. (12-31-1870)


4. JEREMIAH ANDRESS AND WIFE MARY A. J. ANDRESS OF BUTLER COUNTY, ALABAMA
sold to S. F. Andress their 1/6 share of estate of William and Ann Andress,
for $80.00. Same as above (12-31-1870)


5. CHARLES McKENZIE AND WIFE MARTHA McKENZIE OF BUTLER COUNTY, ALABAMA sold
to S. F. Andress their 1/6 share of estate of William and Ann Andress for
$80.00. Same as above (12-31-1870)
