It is therefore ordered by the Court that the said report lie over for thirty days for said purpose stated in said report. J L Powell Probate Judge Mark Franklin Decd Estate of } Special Term Probate Court Confirmation of Land Sale } March 3rd 1877 Twiggs Franklin the administrator of said Estate having filed his re- port of Land Sale, made by him, as such admr the 29th day of January 1877, and asked that said report lie over in this Court for thirty days that any of the parties in interest who wished to contest the sale & price of said land or any thing else in relation thereto, might do so before the expiration of said thirty days from said 29th day of January 1877, and the said thirty days hav- ing expired and no person having contested said sale, now comes said Twiggs Franklin and reports in writing and under oath, setting forth among other things, that on the 18th day of December 1875 between the hours of 12 o’clock noon and 5 o’clock in the afternoon in pursuance of Law in such cased made, and strictly in accordance with all and singular the term and requirements of the former orders and decree of this Court granted and entered in the premises on the (blank) day of (blank) 1876 he proceeded and sold, at public outcry, on the premises in this County, the land set forth and particularly described in said former order and decree and that Bartilla Burkett became the purchaser at said Sale of the SW ¼ of SW ¼ Sec one, and the NW ¼ of NW ¼ Sec 12, all in Town 8 Range 12, containing 80 acres more or lefs for the sum of Twenty & 80/100 Dollars, and that John Hudson became the purchaser at said Sale of 378 the SW ¼ of SE ¼ and SE ¼ of SW ¼ of Sec one Township 8, Range 12 con- taining 80 acres more or less for the sum of Twenty four & 80/100 dol- lars, And it appearing to the satisfaction of the Court from said report and from the evidence now therewith submitted that said a- mounts, so bid for said land, by said Bartilla Burkett and said John Hudson were the highest and best bids for the same and that said sums so bid, was not greatly lefs or disproportionate to its real value, that said sales were legally and fairly made, conducted and concluded, and that the said purchasers money has been sufficiently secured, according to law and said decree of sale. It is ordered, adjudged and decreed, that said sale be, and the same hereby is approved and in all things ratified and con- firmed by the order and authority of this Court. It is further ordered that said report and all other papers of file relating to this proceeding be recorded. It is further ordered that said administration pay the costs of this proceeding, to be allowed to him against said Estate.
