It is ordered that the matter of said settlement be set for a hearing on 517 the 10th day of December 1877, and that notice of the time and nature of such settlement be given by publication for three successive weeks in the Greenville Advocate, a newspaper published in this County, It is further ordered that Ransom Seale Esq. be, and he is hereby ap- pointed guardian ad litum to Represent Moses Burkett, and to pro- tact his interest in such Settlement, he being the only minor concern- ed. It is further ordered that said Ransom Seale have notice of his said appointment. J L Powell Probate Judge Mark Franklin Decd Estate of } Special Term Probate Court Order to Convey } November 12th 1877 This day came Twiggs Franklin, the administrator of said Estate, and files his report in writing and under oath, Showing among other things, that Bartilla Burkett, who became the purchaser of car- taint of the lands of said Estate, to wit: The SW ¼ of SW ¼ Section one and the NW ¼ of NW ¼ Section 12, all in Township 8, Range 12, and that John Hudson, who became the purchaser of certain lands of said Estate to wit: The SW ¼ of SE ¼ and SE ¼ of SW ¼ Section one Township 8 Range 12, which lands are all particularly described in the decree of this Court, recorded on the 20th day of November 1876, and that said purchasers have respectfully Complied with the Conditions Contained in the decree of the Court under which the said sales were made and with the requirements of law in such cases, and that said Burkett and said Hudson have each paid to said administrator (517 continued) the entire amounts of the purchase money, for which the said lands were sold, And the Court being now entirely satisfied, from an inspection of the records, that the sale of said lands was, in all things regular and fair, and that said sales were here- tofore duly approved and Confirmed by the decree of this Court. It is ordered adjudged and decreed, that the said Twiggs Franklin, as such administrator, as aforesaid, be authorized and he is hereby ordered to Convey by proper deed to said Bartilla Burkett, all right title and interest which the said Mark Franklin, deceased, had in the SW ¼ of SW ¼ Sect one and the NW ¼ of NW ¼ Sec 12, all in Township 8, Range 12, at the time of his death. It is further ordered adjudged and decreed, that the said Twiggs Franklin as administrator as aforesaid, be authorized and he is hereby ordered to Convey by proper deed, to the said John Hudson, all right, title and interest which the said Mark Franklin deceased, had in the SW ¼ of SE ¼ & SE ¼ of SW ¼ Sec one, Town 8, Range 12, at the time of his death.
