State of Alabama	}
Butler County		}  To any Sheriff of the State:
		you are hereby commanded, without delay, to summon

	Stephen Franklin

personally to be and appear before the Honorable the Court of Probate for
Butler County
at the Court Room thereof on the 10th day of April 1875 then and there
to show cause if any they have why Dower in
the lands of the Estate of Mark Franklin
deceased should not be decreed to Nancy
Franklin widow of said deceased upon
her petition for the same filed in this Court

and have you then and there this writ, with your endorsement thereon
        Witness J L Powell, Judge of Probate, at office, this 22nd day of
February AD 1875                               J L Powell
                                                Judge of Probate, Butler County
