Timothy M. Johnson was probably originally from South Carolina born February 12, 1820. Estate Record Book # 6 1863-1865 Butler Co. Alabama pg. 203 The State of Alabama-Butler County. To the Honorable Probate Judge of said County. Petetioner the undersigned Administratorof the estate of T. M. Johnson, late of said County deceased, respectfully represents unto your Honor that said decedant died seized and posessed of the following real Estate to Wit: 240 Acres of land, of which 65 acres are cleared and in a state of cultivation. He further represents unto your honor, that said decedant died seized and possessed of the following personal Estate, To wit : One Yoke Oxen..................................One single Barrel Gun Eight head of Stock Cattle..................Seven Bee Hive Eight head of Stock Hogs...................One Ground Plow One Buggy One Double Barrel Gun Said decedant left the following heirs, besides the widow of the decedant. Wm. C. Johnson, Twenty Years of age; Joshua S. Johnson, Seventeen Years of age; Joseph C. Johnson, Fourteen Years old; Timothy B. Johnson, Twelve Years of age; Bascom A. Johnson, Ten Years of age; Mary L. Johnson, Eight Years of age; Sarah J. Johnson, Six Years of age; Martha V. Johnson, Four Years of age, and Ann B. Johnson, Eleven Months old. Your Petioner is therefore of opinion that to keep said Estate together, would enhance it's value, and promote the general welfare of those interested therein. He therefor pray your Honor to grant an order authorizing and enpowering him to keep said Estate together for Ten years. All of which is respectfully submitted W. F.
