The W ½ of NW ¼ Section 11 also SE ¼ of NW ¼ Section 11 in all 120 acres All in Section Eleven Township Eight Range Twelve in all one hundred and Twenty acres more or lefs To have and to hold the Said lands to him the said Joseph Tipton with all and Singular the rights members and appertinances forever. And we Warrant them free from any in- cumbrances and the title complete. Given under our hands this 16th day of October one Thousand and hundred and fifty four. Signed sealed in the presence of Wm Deen James Burkett {seal} Test Edward Lee Jr. his Mary X Burkett Mark October 16th A D /54 Received of Joseph Tipton Three hundred and fifty Dollars in full payment of the above described land. James Burkett 365 State of Alabama Butler County Personally appeared before me Edward Lee an acting Justice of the peace in and for Said County James Burkett Sr. and his Lady Mrs. Mary Burkett, who acknowledged that they Signed Sealed and delivered the foregoing deed for the purposes therein exprefsed. Given under my hand this the 16th day of October 1854.
