Dear Sir, In the matter of Pension Certificate No. 8187, dated September 23, 1914, issued to me as guardian of Martha Rebecca Young, beg to advise that said Martha Rebecca Young died May 27th, last and will thank you to send me the proper voucher and affadavit blanks for collecting whatever was due up to the time of her death. I return herewith the blanks which you sent me, which of course will not do, as she died within the time set out in these blanks. I will greatly appreciate it if you will send me these blanks without delay. Yours very truley, B.D. Young Additional Comments: Apparently when Benjamin H. Young died, his son Benjamin D. was left to care for his "retarded" sister Martha. The papers indicate that she died and he is trying to get the final pension payment so he can pay for her burial.
