All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ****************************************************************** OBIT OF FATE BUSH Butler County News-Alabama State Archives- 6-15-44 MR FATE BUSH On Sunday evening at 5:00 o'clock, June 4, 1944 the death angel visited the home of Mrs. Fate Bush and children and quietly took away the spirit of their husband and father, to that home where there is no more pain or suffering. He was born December 25, 1887. He was 56 years five months and four days old. He hardly ever complained or let anyone know he was hurting. All was done that could be to keep him easy, comfortable while he was ill but God called and he said he was ready to go. He was laid to rest Monday afternoon at 2:00 o'clock at Pleasant Home Church with the Rev. Calvin Forrester conducting the funeral. He was married to Mary Lou Coker December 29, 1910. He united with the Missionary Baptist Church when he was only a young man. He leaves to mourn his passing his wife and seven children: Henry E. Bush, McKenzie; Willie G. Bush, Kenhett, Mo.; Mrs Cleo Skipper, Mrs Edgar Parker, both of McKenzie; Elsie Lee, Malcolm and Lorene Bush of the home. One sister, Mrs O.W. Chambliss, Bolling; a brother Wimlorn Bush, Red Level; three half sisters, Mrs Lee Reeves, Bolling; Mrs J. W. Piggott, McKenzie; Mrs J.T. Lewis, Selma, Ala. Seven grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends. One brother died during the World War, July 26, 1918.
