At the time of his death, he was a resident at Encor Senior Village, Pensacola, FL. Mr. Fail was a W.W.II veteran, was a retired master aircraft mechanic and farmer. He was preceded in death by his parents Rufus Elijah and Lottie Long Vickery Fail, and by his wife, Kathrine Brewer Fail. Survivors include his wife, Zelna P. Fail of Honoraville, AL; daughter and son in law, Joan C. & James G. Webster of Tuscaloosa, AL; son and daughter in law, Dr. R. Wallace & Robyn B. Fail of Niceville, FL; sisters, Lillie Mae Banks of Pleasant Grove, AL and Carrie McIntyre of Mobile, AL; brother, Carness Fail of Greenville, AL; granddaughter, Miryam K. Fail; grandson, Leidon W. Fail, both of Niceville, FL and numerous nieces & nephews. Funeral services will be 10:00AM, Saturday, March 6, 1999, at harper-Morris Memorial Chapel in Pensacola, FL. Burial will be in the Mobile Memorial Gardens, Mobile, AL at 1:00PM, Saturday. Harper-Morris Memorial Chapel in charge of arrangements.
