Montgomery Advertiser, Saturday March 23, 1946

Pope, Mrs. Leila Ester - Funeral services for Mrs. Pope, 56 who 
died Wednesday at her home, were held yesterday morning from the 
Pentecostal Holiness Church with Rev. Levy Presley officiating.  
Surviving are her husband, L. L. Pope, two daughters, Mrs. Joy 
Raiborn, Greenville, and Mrs. Jollie Helms, Montgomery, three 
sons, Grady Williams, Uniontown and Gordon and Judson Williams 
both of Fort Jackson, two sisters, Mrs. Carrie [should be Cammie] 
Pouncey, Montgomery, and Mrs. Mattie Gardner, Tallahassee, Florida, 
and a brother Jake Till, Tallahassee. Burial was in the Friendship 
Cemetery with Dunklin-Johnson Funeral home in charge.

Additional Information:
Leila Ester Till, daughter of Andrew Allen Till and Martha
Jane Majors, married first Judson Lamar Williams and second
Lonnie Lee Pope.
