Montgomery Advertiser, September 14, 1968

Jacob A. Pouncey, age 87 died Thursday.  He was buried at Memorial Cemtery.
Survivors:  Mrs. Blanche Pouncey, his wife, Sons:  Ravern, Thurston, Curtis,
and Jacob Jr., all of Montgomery; daughters:  Mrs. Ethel (Pouncey) Baldwin,
and Mrs. Edith (Williams) Slater; Brothers:  Irving A. Pouncey, and Mace Pouncey
of Greenville, and Louis Pouncey of Atmore.
